Hello, I'm Gorana Arnaud
I am an English-speaking therapist in Montpellier, France, registered with the local health authority (ARS); my practice is situated in the historic centre of Montpellier.
I have master’s degrees in both Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and am trained in therapeutic hypnosis. I am also a guest lecturer at the University of Minnesota study abroad program in Montpellier. I have over 25 five-star reviews on Google.
Although I received the bulk of my training by Freudian academia psychoanalysts, I incorporate various modern practical tools into my work, in order to provide you with the very best of therapy.
Different therapies
Psychotherapy
In a psychotherapy session, the patient and the therapist are seated in armchairs facing one another to quickly resolve a symptom or deal with a stressful situation.
Psychoanalysis
A psychoanalysis session takes place on the couch. It identifies and transforms patterns in how we think and act and goes to the inner core of our struggles.
Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a brief therapy to tackle a specific issue and lasts no more than five or six sessions. It requires a motivated subject to succeed.
Other therapeutic tools
I sometimes user newer therapies (which really are inherited from the past), such as Mindfulness and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT).
